We (US) needs some major healthcare in this country! A neighbor of mine whose wife has been in a senior care facility and now a nursing home for eleven years is losing his home to a reverse mortgage. The bank recently said that since homes are slightly edging up and people are looking to buy in the area then he has to move. The bank also added that his wife was suppose to die five years ago so all the money that was put in the house has been used for her health care even though she is still alive.
He is told to move out of the house and has to move this summer. His children have hired an attorney to try and fight this from happening but he did not read the fine print on the contact when he first signed it.
