There has been a shooting at the US Holocaust Memorial Museum in Washington DC. A man entered, James von Braunn and opened fire first at one security guard then another and another. One woman who was a tourist commented that she heard someone yell everyone get down then everyone sprinted to the nearest exit when they thought it was clear to move.

Braunn is known as a white supremacist and has been involved in several hate groups for years. People in the lower level watching films did not know why at first they were being told to evacuate.

Braunn had been watched by officials for many years after making death threats to government officials back in the eighties, nineties and up until 05. He was anti-government.

I think the words that I would use for any white supremacist would'nt be allowed to be said here. They are just sick and frightened beings with no sense of power in their lives. Cowards and bullies. This is disgusting....

The first security guard he shot died. Braunn has entered Judaism, African-American, Latin and government libraries and harrassed employees and customers.

He had sent threatening letters to the federal reserve over and over again. He was locked up in prison for a time being, I do not know exactly for what. But he was let go due to overcrowding, the media said. And he served his time.

But how can our government say they were watching him when they were really not? And someone said they were left a message about Braunn planning an attack but nothing was done about it?

How terrible - people who go that far due to their fanatical and misguided beliefs..
