Singer Michael Jackson is in full cardiac arrest and his family is sent rushing to the hospital.

Don't tell me we lose two celebrities in one day?

They say Generation X lost two major icons. I know Michael Jackson was the "Elvis of my generation," as some people have already said.

Farrah was recently in the news due to her cancer but I remember watching re-runs of Charlie's Angels on the telle while in school and college. I did not get to see the original because it was before my "Britney time". My parents use to watch her in her TV movies, etc.

I will admit to getting annoyed at the media due to the fact that Farrah was in Charlie's Angels but she had a career after that and she was an artist. The same goes for Olivia she was only in Grease. Olivia had a career before Grease and after Grease and before she had cancer but this is all the media talks about. Grease and Cancer.

A near-by music store admitted to selling out of all their Michael Jackson records, cassette's, 45 singles and CD's of Jackson's music. They said last night they were getting phone calls as far away as New Guinea for his music.

Go on Twitter and see celebrities writing in on Michael Jackson. The biggest selling itunes artist now is Michael Jackson.

Alyssa Milano said remember his moonwalk in 1983? Kim Kardashian thanks F & F for sending her his music on her ipod.

Someone I know interviewed Farrah in her heyday. He said he was chosen besides Entertainment Tonight to interview her back in the early eighties when she was shooting one of her films.
He was told to wait in her bedroom at her hotel suite until the entertainment tonight crew finished interviewing her and packed their things and left. He said he waited for awhile.
Then the double doors opened up and Farrah entered. He had her poster on his wall during high school and college and he said she looked just like the poster. She was very petite and small but very physically fit and gorgeous. She said "excuse me" and she said "I have to get out of these clothes" while she made a dash to the bathroom door and giggled while shutting it.
She came back dressed in running shorts and a tank top and barefoot and she said "that felt better". She apologized to him but said she felt much more comfortable in her own clothes then the clothing her publicity people picked out for her that day. She told her publicity person to stay in the other room and she closed the bedroom door.

She had him interview her on the hotel bed. He said he never forgot this and was glad he changed his major from a poly-sci to journalism while in college. He said her green eyes really stood out at least for him. He was struck during the conversation that she was so normal and not the hollywood starlet type at all. He added she was just "the girl next door."

Farrah, in his opinion, never had the ego or arrogance as some actresses do.

He found out later the reason why his editor chose him for the assignment. Farrah publicity agent found out he was from Corpus Christi Texas where she was from and one of his relatives went to school with Farrah back then. And her agent thought she would like to be interviewed by someone from her own hometown for a change.

Farrah Fawcett's funeral on Tuesday was packed at our Lady of the Angels Cathedral in Los Angeles with around 500 in attendance. Ryan O'Neal was accompanied by family (Griffin O'neal and Farrah's father James) and friends, (Alana Stewart, Marla Maples, co-star Kate Jackson, model Cheryl Tiegs, etc.)
The dark brown casket was covered in orange and yellow flowers which represented Fawcett's outlook on life. Quartets of musicians played Amazing Grace and the song Always from Irving Berlin song catalouge.
O'Neal was seen weeping throughout the entire ceremony. O'Neal read from the book of Wisdom while Redmond read from Lamentations.
Fawcett wrote two letters one to O'Neal about their turbulent 30-year relationship. And to her son Redmond who was allowed out of jail for three hours in a suit with close sheriff deputies around.
She told Redmond that he was the greatest gift of her life and by leaving him behind she hoped he could work out his troubles and grow as a person. She also hoped that O'Neal and Redmond could work out their problems too.
A bagpiper was the first to come out from the services. O'Neal was overheard saying to the Hearse's back door with Fawcett's casket inside, "So long babe".
Around 100 fans with the media stood across the street in observance. Several fans and even media were seen entering the Cathedral to light candles in honor of Fawcett.

An order of service book was handed out with a favorite shot of Farrah on the cover.

Marie Osmond spoke about Farrah. Osmond said she remembers Farrah debuting on their show with Six Million dollar man Lee Majors. Osmond said standing next to her as an awkward teenager there was no doubt in my mind she was going to be the next 600 million dollar star. Many people since have asked Osmond, Was Farrah as beautiful in person? Marie Osmond said YES!
Osmond went on to say the way she handled the trails in her life proves she was not only beautiful on the outside but inside as well.

In the mental ill department, we have Ryan O'Neal who accidentally "hit on" his daughter Tatum O' Neal at Farrah Fawcett's funeral. Ryan O' Neal admits he was so grief stricken by Fawcett's death and so lonely that he wanted companionship when he mistakely flirted with his estranged daughter Tatum. He asked her out for a drink in a Swedish accent until Tatum spoke up and said, dad don't you recognize me?
I wonder what his son's would say to that?

He admitted this to Vanity Fair magazine which will be out August 5 in the US. And he talks openly about his relationship with Fawcett and why they split up a few years ago.

There have been rumors floating around that since Fawcett and Majors divorced years ago that Fawcett did not want a cheating husband again so O'neal and Fawcett had an open relationship and this is one reason why they never married. She kept their relationship open. That is why it worked for so long, open and honest.

There has been controversy all over the media about this incident now. And Griffin O'Neal has spoken out about his father's strange behavior due to years of alcohol and drug abuse.
He said, he did not know how Fawcett put up with (Ryan) O'Neal's habits for all these years.
He added that his father wanted to make sure he was in Fawcett's will due to getting revenue from her estate and share some of the profits from her Tv/Film gigs.
I wonder what TV/movies O'Neal owns that Fawcett starred in?

Someone asked this question, "Did Fawcett ever meet Olivia?

They were in one event together. One was the Academy Awards from 1980. Another one they were suppose to appear together was a celebrity love tennis match tournament back in 1982 because they both loved tennis and this was suppose to have the Van Patten family, Kenny Rogers, etc. there. But Olivia was on the physical tour instead.

And Fawcett just missed Olivia when they were meeting Prince Charles on tour in the US in 1977. Fawcett met him in San Francisco but she was suppose to meet him in LA on the same night as Olivia but her plans changed the last minute while Olivia met him in LA later on in October.

Olivia stated she met Prince Charles and he did not mention Grease and she told an interviewer that she thought it would be rude to mention that he should see Grease.
