and where it went no one knows until now!
When ONJ saw the risque dance troop Hot gossip perform in England she thought they were unique enough that they deserved to be in her new film "Can't Stop the Music". She immediately phoned Allan Carr the producer and said "you need to put them in our new movie", back in 1979. The film was made in New York and Los Angeles.
Well the film was not made with Olivia. And the lead dancer who started the group Arlene Phillips found out back then she was pregnant and phoned Allan Carr to tell him that this could present a problem because there was a one week hiatus between making the film in the two cities and this was the time her baby was due.
She said Carr was wonderful and told her to take a week off and they could work around her pregnancy and delivery.
Currently, Phillips is bringing back her risque dance troupe Hot gossip for a new stage show. If you have not seen a photo of them think of Solid Gold dancers with outrageous costumes and more male dancers included and you have Hot Gossip.
Phillips would like to invite Newton-John back to see Hot Gossip when they perform in England again.
