Japan has Sony entertainment which counts for around 20% of the world entertainment. I know Japan always comes out first with new entertainment equipment so they seem the most logical to get new Cd's, etc. out to the public.
And also remember Olivia is a big record/CD seller in Japan. She has always been a top performer in Japan and on their music charts. Japan is cashing in on this plus she went over to advertise her livaid to their new Triumph lingerie stores which seem to be a hit.
I am thinking a smart executive is pushing her livaid plus the new CD box set for different age groups in Japan. If the idea takes off there then it will be tried here in the US and Canada.
I do not like that they are calling past albums her box set. Why can't they have songs from her TV specials or songs that she sung that were dropped in her career in her box set instead of just old albums?
